Hi, I’m Siobhan.
I grew up on the east coast but discovered a love of mountains and wide open spaces early on in my college career. I studied geology which turned out to be an academic path that led to much more than a diploma. I signed up for filed courses in California, Texas, and Wyoming and fell in love with a new, wild country.
After college, I packed a single suitcase and headed west to Montana. There I started on a new path as a seasonal park ranger for the National Park Service at Glacier National Park, a profession that would take me across the country.

Six years and many National Parks later, I landed in Truckee, California, a home base that is full of outdoor adventure. These days, I spend my time backcountry skiing, trail running, backpacking, and climbing.
I’m inspired by natural landscapes and the deeply personal connections that are facilitated through shared adventure. I hope you’ll follow along with my photography and writing as I share my experiences living in the heart of the Sierra Nevada.
